Endowment Fund

To Preserve & Sustain Our Mission

At ProArts Playhouse we welcome, love, and accept all into our ‘Ohana has established a permanent endowment fund to preserve the Theater and sustain its work and mission. This fund consists of a permanent corpus of monetary resources, originating from the gifts of community members, patrons, and friends.

One of life’s richest gifts comes through a lifetime of involvement in the theater community. ProArts Playhouse has been a special place for live performances on Maui for nearly 20 years.

The endowment is a fund held in perpetuity. Funds are placed in a FIDC insured investment by the Board of Directors. Resources generated by the invested endowment are used to preserve the Theater and to further the mission of ProArts Playhouse.

This may be done through the following means:

Preserving and improving our theater.
Preparing current and future generations through Theater experience and education.
Assisting the Theater Budget.
Providing for continued and future music, arts, and theater productions.

Ways to Give

Together, we can ensure that ProArts will enrich our community for generations yet to come. Through your estate plan you can provide for your loved ones and the Theater.

Outright Gifts

During lifetime of cash, stocks, bonds or real property may be made. These may honor family members on anniversaries, birthdays and other special occasions.

Bequest by Will

May also be made by percentage of set amount of one’s estate.

A Living Trust

Provides for future family needs and designating ProArts Playhouse to eventually receive income and/or the principal from the trust.

Life Insurance Beneficiary

ProArts Playhouse can be named as beneficiary on a present or new policy, or ProArts is made owner of a policy that you pay the premiums on, or the cash surrender value of a policy gifted to ProArts is another way to give.
