SUMMARY:Island Soul Sessions with Pohai and Stephen Henderson
DESCRIPTION:Pohai and Stephen Henderson – “Island Soul Session”\n \n \n \n \n \n Saturday\, March 7\, 2026Starts at 7:30pmRun time: 2 hours with intermission\n \n BUY TICKETS\n \n \n \n \n \n Presented by ProArts Playhouse and Mana’o Radio\nBrother and sister duo Stephen Henderson and Pohai bring their voices together in a rare\, intimate performance filled with original songs\, soul\, and family harmony as native hawaiian artists from Hana\, Maui.\nThough each has a growing solo career\, together their voices interlace with a depth and resonance that only ʻohana can create.\nStephen is a three-time Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award nominee and finalist\, a Hawaiʻi Songwriting Festival Competition winner\, and a signed Concord Music artist. A current pioneer of the emerging “Island Soul” sound\, he blends heartfelt songwriting with a modern soul edge\, carrying forward a new musical identity for Hawaiʻi.\nPohai is a rising star in Hawaiʻi’s music scene—a powerful female vocalist and soul-conscious roots singer-songwriter. Her artistry and songs are on air throughout the islands and weave her identity as a Kanaka Maoli woman into soulful expressions of sovereignty\, freedom and resilience.\nTogether\, Stephen and Pohai co-wrote Babylon\, which won the statewide Mana Maoli Song Contest\, further cementing their place as storytellers for this generation.\nThis special showcase is a close intimate experience: stripped down\, acoustic\, and deeply personal. They will leave you in awe with intricate harmonies\, storytelling and original songs that speak to life\, family\, grief\, healing\, and hope\, and music that uplifts and stirs the spirit.\n& Love centered around music.\n \n \n \n \n \n Follow on Social Media!\n@stephenhmusic @pohai.makamae\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Ticket Pricing\nPremium:\n$37.10 Extra large and comfy front row seats from A1 to A6 with side tables\nPreferred:\n$31.80 Best-view seating in either the front row (seats A7 to A15) OR the front row of any elevated section\nRegular:\n$26.50\nSlightly-Obstructed View:\n$21.20\nKama’aina get $5 off with Hawai’i State ID \nFor information on our Access for All initiative\, click HERE\n \n BUY TICKETS\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n [events-calendar-search placeholder="Search Events" show-events="5" disable-past-events="false" layout="medium" content-type="advance"]\n \n BACK TO UPCOMING
