The play highlights Kūhiō’s role in Hawaiian history\, from his childhood and imprisonment in 1895 to his influential work in the U.S. Congress and the Hawaiian Homes Commission Act. The play debuted at ʻIolani Palace in the fall of 2022. Kūhiō was a challenging and controversial leader.
