Cory Smith\, George Buck\, Dusty Capoeman\, Muno Martin\, Tyus Smith Female/singers dancers Marquel Waugh\, Kamimi Papp\, Mary Papp\, Luvaila Smith\, Shirley Mae Stafford\, Emily Martin\, Helen Martin\, Joquina Martin. Traditional rattles.\nWe are among the small number of Americans who can walk the same beaches\, paddle the same waters\, and hunt the same lands our ancestors did centuries ago. The Quinault Indian Nation (QIN) consists of descendants of the Quinault\, Queets\, Quileute\, Hoh\, Chehalis\, Chinook\, and Cowlitz people.\nTo this day\, we fish\, hunt and gather from the same lands as our ancestors. Through millenia\, plants have provided food\, medicine\, materials\, and spiritual sustenance for our people. The western red cedar\, the tree of life\, provided logs for canoes\, bark for clothing\, split boards for houses\, and more.
